You Were Never Meant to Do It All

We live like time is something we can conquer – we try to be more productive, get through the list, stay on top of everything. We feel overwhelmed and anxious, there is simply never enough time to do everything...

But as Oliver Burkeman shared in his conversation with Rangan Chatterjee “This is not a war you can win.”

There will always be too much to do. Because your time, your energy and attention are finite. The real problem  is not that you don’t have enough time. “The problem is not that we don't have enough time to do the things we need to do. It is that we feel the need to do too many things in the time we have.”

There will always be too much to do. But there isn’t too much to do when you choose differently. When you stop trying to fit everything in…and start focusing on what actually matters.

This is exactly the work we do in coaching. Creating the space to pause…; to step back from the noise…; and to get clear on what really matters to you.

Because most of us aren’t overwhelmed by time— we’re overwhelmed by unclear priorities.

Coaching helps you:

  • cut through the “shoulds”

  • reconnect with what matters

  • and make confident choices about how you spend your time, energy and attention.

You don’t need more time.

You need more awareness of how you want to spend your time.

You need clearer choices.

If you feel you need some support in getting more conscious about how you want to spend your time, reach out to me at Rise Again coaching and we can explore what that would look like for you.
