I am Louiza, and I am a coach.

 

It has taken me years and a lot of courage to say these words.

 

We use a lot of words to describe ourselves: I am a mother, a sister, a daughter, an auntie, a friend, a sea swimmer, a programme manager for a charity. But really I am a woman who is living this beautiful messy thing called life, with as much love, learning and curiosity as I can.

Having gone through some personal challenges and life-changing events in my 40s, I discovered an inspiring group of women who showed me what it meant to live with a sense of meaning and belonging. I felt drawn to coaching and its power to unlock people’s potential and signed up and completed a PG Cert in Coaching and Mentoring.

 

I have since worked with many coaching clients and continued to develop and grow my coaching skills and confidence. More recently, I completed the Emotions Coaching Programme led by the wonderful Zoe Hawkins and Jo Wheatley from In Good Company and found my true tool set and ‘magic wand’ in coaching. Emotions coaching is about helping my clients connect with the full range of their emotions, get to know them, feel confident exploring them and identify how emotions can support them to achieve their goals.

 

Using elements of emotions coaching I create a safe, non-judgemental space where my clients can gain awareness, acceptance and transformation. It is a true privilege to be of service to people in this way and something that gives me a sense of meaning and purpose in life.
